The finished Walkway garden

How the Walkway garden looked at the start
The owners had remodelled their small cottage and their new kitchen now completely opened out into the garden with sliding folding doors.

A decked area in front of the kitchen
To maximise their living/entertaining space, a deck area was built at the same level as the kitchen to allow the dining table and chairs to be simply moved across, thus providing the option of al fresco dining.
Filler
A decked walkway leading to shed
Additional storage was a major requirement and a large shed was essential to the new garden design. A decked walkway now leads from the house to a large shed, made more pleasing with a shaded veranda, and painted in a pale colour.

A pergola for catching the afternoon sun
Beside the shed we created an area enclosed in a small pergola for catching the afternoon sun.
